I have spent a lot of time contemplating what has turned our culture from one in which topics could be discussed, acknowledgment could be made for parts of the opposing arguments which had merit, and indeed that people could blend notions from both sides and come up with something they could agree on, or at least agree to disagree on, without malice.
Rural Doc Alan is my husband and we write collaboratively on his medical topics. But I wonder off on rhetorical questions at times as I struggle to understand what has happened to public discourse. As you say, the social platforms have pretty much destroyed discussion as we know it.

I will share with my readers as well — because without knowledge of what is not social justice, social platforms become animalistic! The last I knew, humans are not from the Animal Kingdom!
